nylonBits

nylonBits is an instrument device built using FL Studio Patcher and is compatible exclusively with the most recent versions of the software, starting from FL Studio 25.
The device allows you to layer a main guitar sample with a delayed and "granularized" copy of itself, using a randomized Fruity Granulizer whose values change with each note played, resulting in unpredictable and interesting outcomes.

Controls:

• The big knob in the center controls the timing of the delayed signal.
• The "Sync" switch (top left) lets you choose whether to synchronize the delay time to the project tempo or not.
• The switch at the top right allows you to choose whether the delayed signal is played an octave or a fifth above or below the original, enabling either harmonic reinforcement or more abstract, dissonant textures depending on the interval and direction.
• The three small knobs at the bottom left control the envelope of the delayed signal: attack, decay, and release.
• The knob at the bottom center adjusts the gain of the delayed signal, allowing you to blend it with the original.
• The slider at the bottom right spreads the sound across the stereo field and adds a "room" reverb to give the layer more depth and dimension.
