05 is a FL Studio Patcher instrument inspired by the warm, intimate, unstable pad sound from the Boards of Canada single Tape 05.
It starts from 3xOsc, but most of the character comes from the processing around it: random detune movement, quick s&h volume dips, slow filter modulation, velocity-reactive saturation, chorus, fragmented delays and a rain-based Fruity Convolver layer that adds environmental movement.
The surface includes three main controls to shape the sound, adjust the stereo width, introduce high-end informations, and blend in the rain convolver layer.
